The unknown is endless
Countless questions in the dark
Actions done behind closed doors
Things we know not of
And the darkness makes us sleepy
It envelops us all up
In a false sense of security
Within our own little box
Think of love and what it gives us
So much joy but so much pain
Had you not known what that felt like
You might have remained sane
What you don't know doesn't hurt you
Goes the saying on the wall
And so the strongest are the simplest
For their heads hold nothing at all
No memories to hurt them
No reference to the past
